Our clients were empty-nesters who raised their family in this apartment. They wanted an apartment update, but most importantly, needed the apartment to function better spatially to address their needs. The existing oversized entry hall had a dining table which was never used and had become a dumping ground for papers. Our clients wanted a dining room they would actually use, assistance with a new audio/video system that could be hidden away, and an updated kitchen with breakfast area. With the removal and reconfiguring of a few small walls and doorways, we recreated their living spaces to be much more functional, with more useful and substantial storage, and better flow through rooms. Light now floods from one room to the next and furniture layouts are much more comfortable.
